Michael Jakarimilena is a professional singer from Papua-East Indonesia. He was placed as top 5 Indonesian Idol season 1 in 2004. He is actively promoting Indonesian culture especially East Indonesia through songs to several countries such as Australia, Vanuatu, and The United States. He has collaborated with various musicians and music projects from Indonesia and the United States for promoting culture, local wisdom, and peace messages to the world. Apart of being a singer, he is also an actor for educational movies about East Indonesia. In 2016-2019, he promoted Indonesian language through songs across Australia organized by Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth. Recently, he is the founder of SAMPARI Production and part of NOGEI duo group.
