Douangchampy Vouthisouk is Deputy-Director General of Performing Arts Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.

He is putting a lot of effort into research and thesis for the Lao music industry.

Besides, he collected and provided regarding Lao traditional music and folksong in 2001 for ASEAN Project in Singapore.
